World Clean Up Day, cleaning up the trash that is polluting our earth
Why is World Clean Up Day necessary? Well, just like your own personal home, it feels nice to have it clean and nice. So, it is important to clean up the human race’s home, the earth. It is important to take care of the earth as it is the only place that we have and we need to treasure it and not take it for granted. The excess amount of waste is causing harm to the environment, destroying habitats for animals, causing pollution, and other environmental concerns. With floating plastic in the water and often mistaken for food, it causes a lot of harm to the fishes and marine creatures, in addition, pollutes the water and ecosystem. By cleaning up the waste and pollution, you are making the earth a little bit healthier and also it feels good to be living in a clean community. Also, as you are cleaning, you will come to realize the harm that has been caused by us humans and it is our responsibility to take care of the earth.

Why you should participate

You should participate in World Clean Up Day more because it feels nice to do something good. In addition, you get to see many new things, make new friends, and make a difference. These are the little things that will make a difference in the future. Showing love to the planet you live on is bare minimum and keeping it clean is something everyone should do. As we humans have caused so much harm to the earth right now and to ourselves in the future, it is important to do whatever we can to protect what we have right now for the future. If you can’t participate physically, there are ways you can still contribute, such as donation, investing in technology that can help clean up the ocean, looking into brands that are conscious of their waste management, and so on.

Everyday is Clean Up Day

An important thing to remember that while World Clean Up Day only happens once a year, that doesn’t mean you can’t participate in monthly or weekly community clean ups. In fact, it is a lot better and more effective if you are in a habit of cleaning up. Volunteering to clean up your community, pick up trash, and so on a regular basis will make World Clean Up Day focus on the big issues. Plus, it feels nice when your community is nice and clean.
